What is Merkleshare?
Merkleshare makes it easy to share files with the world. Upload files, organize them into collections, and get a shareable link. Your public collections are listed on your profile for others to discover.
Create an account and choose your handle. Link your Bluesky account to let others find you using your domain handle (like @yoursite.com) and make your profile more discoverable across the AT Protocol network.
Browse other users' public collections by visiting their profile. Search for files and collections across the platform, or check out the public feed to see what others are sharing.
Use Merkleshare through the web interface or the CLI. The CLI is great for automation, bulk uploads, and scripting.
Data Portability
Files on Merkleshare are stored on the Sia network, an open storage protocol. This means your data isn't locked into a single platform.
Any file you upload—even multi-gigabyte files—can be imported into other Sia-compatible applications without moving the underlying data. This provides transparency about where your files are stored and ensures you always have access to your data.
